How to Pick Out Replacement Grease Cap for Trailer Hub
Question:
I have a 2013 Keystone Bullet model 217RBS travel trailer with two axles and electric brakes. The wheel bearings were repacked prior to this trip. On our trip home we had a right front tire blow out 500 miles from home. The road service technician who changed the tire dropped the axle off his floor jack three times. One with the spare tire leaning against the wheel mount, but not on the lug bolts - it was still too low - then the jack failed again. The grease cap landed in the center hole on the standard white rim. The technician threw the damaged grease cap into his truck, so I do not have the damaged original to measure. Please recommend the correct grease cap and plug for these EZ lube axles.

That is a pretty bizarre interaction to have with the roadside tech. You will have to measure your hub bore to pick out the correct cap though.
You will want to use a dial caliper or micrometer like part # PTW80157 to measure the inner diameter of the hub you have on your trailer to determine what size cap would be needed.
I attached a link to all the grease caps we offer, once you know what size you need check out the link I attached to see all the sizes we offer.
