Install Harness Recommendation for P3 Brake Controller in 2015 Ram 3500
Question:
I just purchased a p3 trailer controller with adapter for my 2015 ram 3500, hoping for better braking with my 2014 big Tex trailer. Looks pretty simple to install but it says I will have to go to dealer to have something done. Will it work until Im able to go to dealer or will I have to do so immediately?

To install the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 in your 2015 Ram 3500 will require the install harness part # 3024-P.
You will not need to take your truck to the dealer to have it flashed. The reason to take it to the dealer to get flashed is if you had to uninstall a factory integrated brake controller to install the aftermarket controller
The P3 brake controller is basically the nicest controller on the market. Your trailer will have excellent braking performance with it.
