Will 7- and 4-Way Trailer Connector 20119 Fit a 2005 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I have an 05 toyota tacoma with factory tow package. I got the truck and the factory 7 pin connector is snapped off the bracket.i need a replacement 7 pin and bracket preferably plug and play. Would the 20119 be a good choice or is there something that will work better?

As long as the wiring harness that plugs into the back of the 7-Way is a US car connector type and it is not damaged then yes, you can use # 74682. The vehicle side US car connector plug will look like # PK11998.

If the connector on your 2005 Toyota Tacoma does not match up then you would also need # PK11998 and you would hardwire its wiring to the connector wiring by function and not by color. The functions of PK11998 are:

Red - Left Turn and Stop
White - Ground
Blue - Electric Brakes
Green - Right Turn and Stop
Black - Battery
Brown - Running Lamps
Yellow - Backup Lamps
