Does a Flex Air Pin Box Add Clearance Between the Truck Bed and 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
I am considering the Flex Air pin box I have a 2016 Chevy 3500 long bed. Will this pin box allow me to open the tailgate and have space between the truck and my 2013 Open Range 345RLS? Or, is there adjustments needed upon installation? Thanks

The Flex Air pin box # LC328492 does not offer any additional clearance compared to the stock pin box. What I recommend is using a 5th wheel tailgate, # VGM-14-4000, on your 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 so you won't have to lower the tailgate to hook up the trailer.
We have other models that will also fit your truck including # VGM-14-100.
