Replacement Vehicle 7-Way Recommendation that Uses Traditional Wire Colors
Question:
Hey, I am looking for a vehicle side trailer connector. Looking for a 7 Blade style plug with pigtail, with Traditional Wiring colors. From what I see they are either RV Standard or not listed. Also, as a side note, my OCD wishes the creator of the RV Standard flipflop wiring colors would be jailed permanently. Thanks! -

The Pollak part # HM40975-11998 is a replacement vehicle side 7-way that uses the traditional wire colors where the brown is taillight and green is right turn/stop.
I couldn't agree more on how annoying it is that there is two different ways the 7-way wiring is ran and the difference is the brown and green wire colors are swapped. It had to have been a mistake somebody made in the early days of trailering that they just went with.
