Ball Mount with 6-Inches of Rise That Is Compatible with Swagman XCS Towing Bike Rack S64664

Question:

My tow vehicle is a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder we tow a 2015 Aliner Expedition travel trailer with it. Because the bumper on the Pathfinder is pretty low, I need a drawbar with a 5inch or 6inch rise. However, Id also like to carry our bikes with a Swagman Traveler XCS bike rack. So the drawbar will also need to have the three inches of free space that the shank mount on the Swagman rack requires. Does such a thing exist? Thanks!

We can help you with an extra-long 2-inch ball mount that has the 5 to 6-inches of rise you need for your trailer and that will allow installation of the Swagman Traveler XCS towing bike rack # S64664.

Curt 2-inch ball mount # C45100 offers 6-1/4-inches of rise and has 4-inches of available shank between the edge of the hitch pin hole and the reinforcing gusset so it should work great with the Swagman XCS. I went to our warehouse and confirmed this dimension, which is shown on the linked photo.

You can check your hitch tube to confirm how far the hitch pin hole is from the end of the receiver tube to ensure that you will still have the 3-inches of space on the ball mount that you need.
