Spring Bar Recommendation to Convert 1,000 lb Weight Distribution System to 800 lbs

Question:

Can 800 lb tongue weight spring bars be used in place of the 1000 lb bars that came with my C17062 hitch?.... Are the holes in the round-bar head the correct diameter for both 800 and 1000 rated bars? gross trailer weight is 5500 lbs and tongue weight is 600 - 700 lbs, so I assume ride would be better with the lighter bars. For Curt weight distribution spring bars that would convert your part # C17062 to have a tongue weight range of 600 - 800 lbs you would want the part # C17113. These are sold individually so you would need to order 2 of them.
