Recommended Trailer Hitch and Custom Fit Truck Bed Camper Tie-Downs for 2005 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I just purchased a 2005 Nissan Frontier King Cab. I need to add TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs and a trailer hitch. I have selected Torklift TLN2409s for the front and TLN3403s for the rear. For the hitch I need to know if either the Curt 13241 or the Draw-Tite 75282 might fit better with the TLN3403s. The Torklift site indicates that the TLN3403s work with a factory hitch or their own hitch but maybe not with any third-party hitches. I might be able to get my hands on a factory hitch, but it could be difficult and expensive. Would you please help me choose a hitch that will work with the TLN3403s? Thank you!

Since you want to install an aftermarket, non-TorkLift trailer hitch on your 2005 Nissan Frontier you will want to use the TorkLift Custom Camper Tie-Downs # TLN2409 for the front, as you referenced, and # TLR3500 for the rear, rather than the rear tie-down part number you referenced.
The TorkLift rear tie-down you referenced will only fit your Frontier if you do not have a trailer hitch or you have a factory hitch because it occupies the same installation location as an aftermarket hitch.
The trailer hitch I recommend for your truck is the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch # 13241 because it is a custom fit for your Frontier that will not require any drilling for installation and it is made here in America. This hitch offers a max towing capacity of 5,000 pounds with a maximum tongue weight of 500 pounds. The Class III hitch offers a 2 inch receiver that will accommodate a variety of accessories. I've attached an installation video of this hitch on a similar Frontier for you.
If your Frontier did not come with factory trailer wiring and you'd like to add wiring now, the Tekonsha # 118266 is a great solution to provide a 7-Way blade-style connector. If you need a 4-Way flat connector, I recommend part # C56225.
