Do Tekonsha Voyager and Prodigy Brake Controller Use the Same Wiring Adapter for Installation  

Question:

I currently have a Tekonsha Voyager installed in my 2007 Toyota Tacoma. I want to replace that brake controller with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 controller. Since Im already cabled and have been running the Voyager is installing the P3 as simple as unplugging the Voyager and plugging in the P3, without any additional wires or adapters? Since both products appear to call for the same cable for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma 3040-P, Im thinking Im good to go with what I already have. Thanks.

Yes, you can easily replace the Tekonsha Voyager brake controller # 39510 in your 2007 Toyota Tacoma with the outstanding Prodigy P3 # 90195 simply by unplugging the old controller and plugging in the P3 using the same wiring adapter # 3040-P.
