Recommended Disc Brake Conversion Kit for 2016 Montana 370
Question:
I want to know which product is superior Kodiak or Titan for a dexter 8 on 61/2inch 7,000 pound axles. Or does dexter make a better disc brake system. I have a 2016 Montana 370 BR GVW around 15,500 lbs. I dont want the cheapest or china made crud as well.

We offer and sell more Kodiak disc brake products than other brands and our customers consistently rate these Kodiak kits very highly. Our installers did not express a major preference for one brand over the other but they do have more experience with the USA-made Kodiak kits so I recommend you consider one of the 7K-rated 8-on-6-1/2 kits shown on the linked page. We do not offer Dexter disc kits.
You can refer to the linked article for explanation of the items needed to complete a conversion from OEM drums to electric-over-hydraulic disc trailer brakes.
We offer both rotor-only kits like # K2R712DAC and hub/rotor kits like # K2HR712D and you also have choices in the type of finish on the parts. Raw finish, Dacromet finish, E-Coat and kits with stainless steel components are offered. Just click on the filters to select your preferences.
