Thank you for your purchase of Hidden Hitch Class III Hitch 87615.
This hitch fits Toyota Highlander model years 2008 through 2013, but it does not fit on later model years. If you choose to sell it please note that the original hardware cannot be re-used. We do offer a replacement hitch hardware kit, part # RHK, that can be used by the new owner to install it. Just select the hitch part number and brand from the menu tools on the RHK page.
For your 2016 Highlander we offer Class III hitches that are shown on the linked page. I suggest the Curt # C13200 because it will allow you to retain a full-sized spare tire and it requires no drilling. Please refer to the linked installation video on a 2015 model year. We show no fits for the 2017 at this time.
If you need a 4-pole wiring harness for your 2016 Highlander you can use Curt # C56217; an install video for this item is linked too.
