I highly recommend using a non-skid roof protection pad like the # RL100650 with this large of a bag. This will aid in keeping the bag from sliding around and to protect the top of your vehicle from scratches.

To lock up the bag, run a Rightline locking cable # RL100640 through the cutouts in the zipper pulls. Then, to secure it to your roof, run the cable around your roof-rack rails.
