1-7/8 Inch Ball that Will Fit a Ball Mount for a 2-1/2 Inch Hitch
Question:
Is this compatible with the standard 6inch drop hitch. I have a 2015 ram 2500 with the 2 1/2 inch receiver but i have a trailer thats coupler needs a 1 7/8 ball.

Trailer hitch ball # C48810 has a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank. The ball hole in the ball mount will need to be 1-1/4 inches in diameter for the ball to fit. The 1-1/4 inch size is the common hole diameter for ball mounts that fit 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch receivers so I am confident that this ball will work for you.
