Can Curt Trailer Wiring be Used with a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch on a 2015 Ford Explorer

I am interested in the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch for my 2015 Explorer, will the Curt Curt Trailer Wiring Harness Code: C56172, work with the Draw-Tite, or do I need to buy the Curt model trailer hitch as well?

You can use a Curt trailer wiring harness # C56172 with Draw-Tite hitch # 76034 for your 2015 Ford Explorer. The hitch and wiring do not have to be the same brand.

I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
