13 Inch Trailer Tire Recommendation for Landscaping Trailer

Hello, I recently acquired a used 5x8 landscape trailer. The trailer came with 13inch wheels with 175/70R13 tires. One of the tires is nearly bald, so Im looking to replace them. Those sizes look like car tires though and not trailer tire sizes. I thought Id try an ST175/80D-13, which seems to be the most common 13inch trailer tire size, but its too large to fit in the wheel wells. What size tire/wheel would you recommend for this trailer? This trailer is only used to carry light loads a go kart, primarily. Thanks for your help!

You would need to go with a trailer tire that has ST before the size as they are the only tires rated for use on a trailer.

You would need to go down to a 12 inch tire and wheel so that you can go with something that will fit your trailer. For that you would want the part # AM31208 for if you have a 4 lug bolt pattern or part # AM31202 for if you have a 5. These wheels overall diameter will be just a tiny bit smaller than the size you currently have that does fit.
