Hitch Pin to Fit 2-1/2 inch Receiver for the Swagman XTC-2 Bike Rack
Question:
Will the supplied hitch pin work on my 2013 Chevy 2500HD with the 2.5 inch receiver? Im not sure if the hitch reducer i will need to use to go from 2.5 inches to 2 inches would cause problems. Thanks.

Expert Reply:
I verified with Swagman that the XTC-2 # S64670 will work with a 2-1/2 to 2 inch hitch reducer except for the hitch pin. In order to accommodate the 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver you will need the Locking, Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029 or the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64031.
For a hitch reducer you can use # C45405.
