What is Lowest Height Setting on Curt 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16541 for 2015 GMC Sierra 3500
Question:
I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 6 1/2 bed pulling a 37 foot fifth wheel. Im looking for a 20k hitch for sure I like the A20 Slider I originally wanted the rp30870 with the rail kit rp56001-53I think but I had a curt A20 non slider and it pulled fine no issues turning or backing obviously I was over careful my question is it had a height of 15inch and was almost perfect will this slider work as far as getting it low I see reviews saying it doesnt go low.. If it cant get low Im most likely going to get the same hitch just non slider.. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated

Curt 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16541 has a height of 17-1/2 inches when it the lowest position. The lowest position is the second to last set of holes because it can't use the last set because of interference with the slider mechanism.
The hitch will fit the custom install kit # RP56001-53 for your 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 short bed. I have linked a video showing an example installation of this kit for you.
I also recommend installing an in-bed 7-Way trailer connector, # 41157, to make hooking up the trailer easier.
