How to Adjust the Power Output to Trailer Brakes Using the Voyager Brake Controller
Question:
I have a the voyager 9030. After towing from the dealer to home I noticed that my brakes on the trailer were smoking. I contacted the dealer and they suggested that I need to adjust the controller. My question is do I just need to adjust the one of the knobs or both. If so which one in which order.

To adjust the power output to the trailer brakes using the Voyager brake controller # 39510 you will rotate the knob on the right side of the controller. The knob is labeled Gain. Rotate towards the rear of the vehicle for less power or forward for more power.
The other knob is used to level the brake controller and no matter how the controller is tilted (nose up or down) the level knob needs to be straight up and down. I have linked a couple of videos on this controller for you.
