Automatic Sliding Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed

I am currently looking for a Pullrite or Demco or any other quality fully fifth wheel hitch with automatic slide. My vehicle is a 2012 Chevrolet 2500 HD Duramax diesel, with a 61/2 foot bed. Needing a 20K HITCH . I currently have a Trail Air hitch and with a Rota Flex attachement. Please include rail kit and plate box attachment. Please Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Demco about the locking plates and the HiJacker autosliding 21k 5th wheel hitch # DM8550035. You do NOT need a locking plate for a Rota-Flex pin box! The hitch works as it should without a locking plate. I have included a link to a video review of this hitch for you.

This would be the best option for you as it is an auto slider like you said you wanted, has a 21k capacity and works as-is with your Rotaflex.

For a rail kit you would want the part # DM8552011-71 which is a custom fit kit that would minimize drilling and install time.
