Can Appearance Panel of 2013 Toyota Sienna be Left Off when Installing Trailer Hitch
Question:
I just had a trailer hitch installed by Uhaul on my 2013 Sienna. I didnt realize until I got home that the appearance panel was removed and placed on the cargo area in the back. It was never trimmed and reinstalled. Do I really need the appearance panel? Should I just chuck it, or return to Uhaul for a do over?

Helpful Expert Reply:
You really don't need the appearance panel. It just for aesthetics and even for that it's hard to see so it's somewhat pointless.
For the Draw Tite hitch part # 75237 it gives the option of trimming a huge portion of the panel off or just leaving the whole thing off.
