Recommended 20K 5th Wheel Hitch to Fit Curt X5 Adapter w/Round Shank on a 2013 GMC Sierra
Question:
I presently use a BandW Patriot 18K on the Curt X5 adapter that has the ROUND shank hole. But I need a 20K product with my new 5th wheel trailer. At all costs, Id like to stay with a BandW hitch. Is there any way you know of to do that? Thanks

I have a solution for you but, B&W doesn't make a 20K Fifth Wheel for above bed rails your Curt X5 adapter provides.
It sounds like you have the Curt underbed rails since the round shanked Curt X5 adapter # C16210 or # C16220 fit into it that rounded shank. I have two recommended options for you. The M5 Series # RP30928 or the Demco 21K Hijacker # DM6076P-21K. The Curt adapter does have a 20K limit so you will have to abide by your lowest rated item in your setup.
The M5 Series # RP30928 has a a single-jaw design to reduce jarring and chucking. This fifth-wheel trailer hitch offers simple hookup and a secure connection that ensures a superior ride.
The Demco # DM6076P-21K steel 5th-wheel hitch is equipped with a sturdy wraparound jaw with a locking bar for added security while towing. Pivoting head allows easy hookup and helps to limit chucking while the polyurethane bumpers provide cushion for a smooth ride.
I have linked both products to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
