Would the Hollywood Rack Sport Rider 4 Bike Rack HR1400 be a Good Fit for 2008 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I am interested in purchasing the Hollywood Racks HR1400 platform rack, for hauling 4 bikes. Can you confirm that this rack will have sufficient ground clearance for a 2008 Toyota Highlander Sport AWD? I already have the 2inch hitch mount. Thank you.

The great thing about the Hollywood Racks Bike Rack part # HR1400Z is that it has a 7 inch rise built into the shank of the rack to help with ground clearance. When we installed the Draw Tite hitch part # 75726 on a 2008 Highlander like yours we found that it had 14-1/2 inches from the top of the hitch opening to the ground. With the rise in the shank of the bike rack you should be just fine in terms of ground clearance.
