To adapt a 5th wheel trailer to a gooseneck hitch you can replace your Lippert 1621HD pin box with Reese Goose Box # RP85FR. This adapter is the only one approved by Lippert so it won't void the trailer warranty. It is also cushioned to improve ride quality. But it does not provide any additional length.
