Solution for Determining Trailer Wire Functions on Vehicle with Non-Standard Colors
Question:
Trying to update old nasty wiring harness on the Durango and I went and got the kit and when I started my project I found I have no brown wire only yellow and green and red and black. So what do I do?

You will need to test the wires you have with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to determine which wire carries which function. Check out the video I attached to see how this would be done. Most likely yellow is left turn/stop and green is right stop/turn.
