Which Pin Hole is Used on Draw Tite Class III Hitch for Carrying a Bike Rack
Question:
hi, i purchased the hidden hitch for my 2011 Subaru outback from etrailer, ive also just purchased the thule hitching post pro which i received today. i had one question. The hidden hitch receiver has 2 holes, one large and one small. The thule bick rack shank has one threaded hole which appears to be the size of the most rear small hole on the hitch receiver however when aligning with that hole, the bike rack is sticking out a bit more while the larger forward hole gets more of the shank inside which seems more secure. which hole on the hitch receiver do i use? the smaller one which seems to fit the bolt better or larger one?

Expert Reply:
The two holes on the hitch tube of your Hidden Hitch # 75673 are two different sizes. The larger hole is for hitch pins and should be what you use to secure your Thule Hitching Post part # TH934XTR.
The smaller hole is not used at all.
