Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Ram 3500 with Factory Rail Kit

Question:

I tow a 5th wheel with a 2wd 2010 ram 3500 dually diesel cummins. Im upgrading to a 2016 Ram 4x4 dually diesel with the puck system and going to buy a bandw hitch from you. My question is, is there going to be a problem with the height of the new truck since it is a 4x4 towing my camper level ?

For your 2016 RAM 3500 the B and W Companion part # BWRVK3600 will fit the rail kit of your truck and be a great option. Many in the RV community refer to this as the nicest fifth wheel hitch around so I know it will work well for you.

There wouldn't be much of a height difference between your 2010 Ram 3500 and the 2016. The 4WD models of the 3500 series trucks aren't made any taller than the 2WD ones. Both of your trucks are set up for towing and they wouldn't make one taller as that would cause issues.
