Trailer Hitch and Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 1994 Dodge B250 Van

Question:

I have a 1994 dodge b250 van with a Jayco conversion. I need a hitch and a cargo carrier that folds up. You have the best prices so I would like your advice. The spare tire extends 9 1/2 inches beyond the bumper. The # SR9851 looks like my best option but still my not work. As for the hitch, I may tow a trailer at some point. I like your draw tite max e loader, class 3. Item #41533. What would I need to do to make these work, or is there a better , easier choice?

Let's start with the hitch. For that the part # 41533 would be a fit and would be your best option.

The cargo carrier part # e98874 is also going to be the best option for a carrier as well since it has such a large distance from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest rail of the carrier at 19-1/2 inches. It would need 9-1/2 inches to clear when folded up.

That spare sticking out so far is going to prevent basically any carrier from folding up as the carriers do need quite a bit more clearance to do that.
