Can an Aftermarket Roof Rack Be Left on a Car While Washing it

Can I wash my car with this roof rack on?

Any time you wash a vehicle I would recommend you remove the roof rack so that you can clean the vehicle under the feet as well as the feet of the rack. However, we realize that many people will just leave the rack on the car.
If it's a brushless car wash you could leave the rack on.
Keeping the pads clean under the roof rack is important to prevent any type of scratching of the paint there.
