4 Inch Lift Timbren Axle Less System Recommendation for 1,460 lb Trailer
Question:
I recd 2 email replies re: replacement axle for my tent trailer and would like to clarify what part I should use. Was referred to part A35RS545 and part ASR2KHDS01. I have 1984 Starcraft 24 galaxy, it has electric brakes, tire size: B78X13inch C, 5 lug pattern. I also would like a 2-4inch lift if available so I can remove the tire/rim from trailer without removing the wheel well trim. The torsion axle weight was 1460 lb., cargo load 900lb. Would like to go with your axle-less system that could carry a more heavier load as well or a Heavy Duty axle-less system if available. thank you for your help and clarification,

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since you want a 4 inch lift on your trailer you would want the Timbren system part # ASR2KHDS03. This is a 2,000 lb rated system, and it has the lift you need and the ability to have brake hubs installed with 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
For hubs you would want the part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K and then for assemblies part # AKEBRK-35L-SA for the left hand side and part # AKEBRK-35R-SA for the right hand side.
