Cargo Box Recommendation to Fit SportRack SR1010 on a 2013 Ford Edge

Question:

I installed the SR1010 on my 2013 Ford Edge with naked roof, panavista sunroof and antenna at the front of the roof. My Edge appeared to be a similar vehicle as the one you used in your video. I would like to place a sportrack expedition cargo box on the rack but the box appears to sit much too far forward. Can I move the back crossbar further back by 6 inches and is there another smaller cargo box you would recommend that fit my vehicle better?

I can't recommend you install the Sportrack part # SR1010 in a different location on the roof of your 2013 Ford Edge as that would void the warranty.

For a smaller cargo box that would fit your smaller 26 inch crossbar spread you would want the Thule Sidekick part # TH78GC which has 8 cubic feet and would work well.
