Cargo Carrier Recommendations for 2014 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I am looking for a non-folding or folding HCC. I want to be able to open the rear door, without removing the Cargo Carrier. The carrier must also allow for the tire min size 255 75 R17 to not block to much of carrier deck when carrying large coolers.

Your best choice is a carrier that sits lower (5-1/2 inches from shank to top of rails), like part # C18151 that does not have any rise built into the shank that could possibly allow the rear tailgate to open.
You would need to measure from the top of the hitch opening to the bottom of the rear tailgate door. If that dimension is more than 5-1/2 inches then this carrier would clear.
