Adapter Recommendation for Harley TriGlide to Tow Trailer with 5-Way
Question:
Have a Harley triglide with 4 wire flat plug and want to hook up to bushtec trailer with 6 wire plug , I do not need the Int. light so down to 5 wires , trailer Wires are as such , green= taillights, blue = brake lights , yellow = right turn , brown = left turn , white = ground and black = Int, light not needed ,any help would be appreciated ,

While there isn't an adapter available I can tell you how to make one. You will need a wiring converter like the part # RM-732, a 4-way to plug into your Harley wiring like part # HM48110 and a 5-way to the trailer like part # HM47900.
On the input side of the converter you will need to match the yellow and green colors from the # HM48110. On the output side of the converter the yellow and green wires will match up to the yellow and green of the # HM47900, the red wire from the converter will run to the blue wire and the white wire will match up to the white wire.
The brown wire from the 4-way will bypass the converter and will run straight to the 5-way.
