Is Husky Weight Distribution System Similar to Equalizer 4 Point Weight Distribution

Question:

First is this a 4 point or a 2 point set up. 2nd tongue weight will vary a lot how can you make sure to get the right system. I am getting a toy hauler w/ a front open garage. papers say tongue weight of 675 lbs. however w/ the front being where the toys go. adding a 500lb. quad or 2 will drastically change to tongue weight ? how can I get something that will work. may not take toys every time I take trailer out . Dont want to be undersized when I do. Thanks

Only Equalizer advertises their weight distribution systems as 4 point, but the Husky WD System part # HT32218 is of the same design basically. It has bars that can slide back and for on the L-brackets and a head that allows the same style of pivoting so it would function very much like an Equalizer advertised as a 4 point system.

Tongue weight is critical for picking out a WD system. And that figure does include the weight of cargo behind rear axle. You can either have one setup for the heavier trips and get by without for the lighter trips or have a second system for both possible setups since there would be such a large difference.

The Husky system has a tongue weight range of 800-1,200 lbs.
