Rear Axle Timbren Suspension Enhancement for 2016 Ram 1500

Question:

My 2015 Ram 1500 squats about 2 inches when connected to a trailer with approximatley 500lbs of tongue weight. I know a WD hitch would solve the problem but I dont like dealing with a WD hitch. Will the Timbren help or actually hurt the situation? I use a Geny Hitch torsion flex hitch currently.

A set of Timbren rear axle rubber jounce springs will help to stiffen your rear suspension to offset some of the sag you experience when hitched to your trailer's 500-lb tongue weight. For your 2016 Ram 1500 you can use their rear axle kit # TDR1500DQ that you referenced.

An installation video is linked for you. The Timbrens bolt on in place of your factory bump stops and require no drilling.

A nice feature of Timbren jounce springs is that when the truck is unloaded by the trailer tongue weight they will not alter your ride. Only when the truck has that TW load on its rear axle will the Timbrens kick in for extra support. Also, when you're hauling cargo loads in your bed, the jounce springs will help maintain a level stance with their independent operation.
