Backing Material and Weight of CE Smith Deluxe Marine-Grade Carpeting

What is the backing material on this bunk carpeting? Also, what is the weight of this bunk carpet?

I went out to the warehouse to inspect a roll of the bunk carpet # CE11372. The back material is the same as the front but whereas the front is more fluffy, for lack of a better term, the back is matted.
The shipping weight is 2 pounds. The actual weight will be slightly less than that since the packing for this product is very light. As far as a weight or Mil rating it doesn't have one; only that it is marine grade.
