What is the Stroke Measurement for the Shocks in Lippert Shock Kit LC281281

Question:

Prior to ordering, I want to confirm that the kit will work with my set up. The instructions refer to a Dimension Ainch which is the length of the shock body at mid stroke. Please provide the dimension A. I can then add the 2inch per the instructions and determine if the mounting location will allow the minimum of 45 degrees from horizontal for proper operation.

The stroke for the shocks in kit # LC281281 is 4.875 (4-7/8) inches. You can get this by taking the extended length of 13.5 inches and subtracting the compressed length which is 8.625 inches. The difference is the amount of travel, or stroke, of the shock.

The A measurement then is 11 inches which is about 1/2 of the stroke length subtracted from the extended shock length (measuring from mounting point to mounting point on the trailer).
