Replacement Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2005 Honda Pilot with Shorted Out Wiring
Question:
I noticed that the lights on my trailer when not working correctly and after testing realize that the problem was with my vehicle which is a Honda pilot 2005. I looked at the harness and I found that one of the fusion is had gone and that fixed the side lights.when I switch the right hand indicater on the left indicator lights flashing little bit. I tested the voltage coming out and it seems to be okay although there appears to be some cross voltage going to the other wires. I suspect a new harness for the car would be the best way to go. Im confident the problem is not with a trailer as I tested a new set of lites and the same problem occurred. IE confident the problem is with the car itself and not trailer

Sounds like a short took out your trailer wiring harness and it is in need of being replaced. For that you would want the part # 118336 which is a confirmed fit for your 2005 Honda Pilot.
You will want to find where the short is on your trailer and fix as necessary. Look for any cut or frayed wire and fix as needed.
