Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in a 2011 Honda Odyssey with 4-Way
Question:
Hi. I need a harness or connector to go from my Hopkins brake contoller to the vehicle. My mechanic says the Odyssey has a plug n play connection and that the brake wiring already runs to the rear of vehicle. My Viking pop up has a 6 square port and the Odyssey has a 4 flat in the rear, recently installed by my mechanic. Can you suggest 2 products to make these 2 connections, please? Thanks

I can help you pick out the parts you need to install a brake controller in your 2011 Honda Odyssey but there isn't a plug in adapter available for your vehicle.
You would need to start with a 4-way (if you didn't have one). For that the # 118521.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well. This comes with everything needed to make the conversion and install the brake controller.
To add a 7-way to your trailer would only require the part # H20046.
