Recommended Installation of Equal-i-zer Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems
Question:
is the 2 5/16 ball attached and torqued to the hitch when received
asked by: Dave W
Expert Reply:
The included 2-5/16 inch ball will not be attached or torqued down when the Equal-i-zer weight distribution # EQ37100ET arrives.
To install this ball you will need a thin walled 1-7/8 inch socket like the Equal-i-zer # EQ70-00-4800 and a torque wrench with a 3/4 inch drive. We have also found that the Powerbuilt # ALL643216 socket will work on this weight distribution system.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your purchasing convenience.
