Installation of Break-Away Battery During Winter Storage

Should the battery be disconnected when i put he boat/trailer into winter storage?

As long as you don't accidentally activate the break-away switch while in winter storage, keeping the battery connected will be fine. If you're worried about it accidentally getting switched on, then yes you can disconnect it while in storage, you will just want to make sure you remember to reconnect it before you take off come boating season.

You may also want to put the 12V # HM20008 break-away battery on a battery charger like the NOCO Genius Mini # 329-GENIUS5 before you get it out for the next season.
