Hardware Torque Specs For Curt Class III 13534 Trailer Hitch Installed on 2012 Toyota Highlander

Your installation instructions say I need to have a torque wrench, but do not give the ft. Pounds of torque required. What is the required torque on my hitch? - - - 1 13534 Class III Hitch - Toyota Highlander 1 0

Over time, the hitch manufacturers can change the torque specifications of the install hardware which is why we don't publish the torque specs. If you go to page # 2 of the installation instructions, step # 5 gives the correct torque spec.
