Recommended Jack For 1998 Rockwood Popup Camper
Question:
I have a 1998 Rockwood pop up camper and would like to replace the winch because our is not working properly and would love me some help with a style that is close to original. Do you have an idea what I need to get?

From the specs and photos I was able to see for a 1998 Rockwood popup camper it looks like you have an a-frame jack on the trailer. I have attached a link to the a-frame jacks we offer you can check out.
If you are looking for a sidewind jack I recommend a jack like the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B. This has a 5,000-lb capacity and features a 15-inch lift. The 5,000 capacity is more than you need, but it will ensure easy lift and will place less wear on the jack to lengthen its life.
If you want a footplate for the jack, I recommend part # JF-99 and if you want a caster for the jack you can use part # BD500245. If the caster is used, it reduces the weight capacity to 1,200 pounds tongue weight.
