Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2014 Honda Odyssey

Question:

I plan to tow a light fishing boat with a 2014 Honda Odyssey EX-L and have a question about the wiring harness converter/connector. Since boat trailer will go into the water, probably with wiring harness still connected to vehicle, would it be better to purchase the Tow Ready Code: 118521 which has a fuse for each light circuit or the Curt Code: C56118 with a single fuse? For your 2014 Honda Odyssey I would recommend the Tow Ready harness part # 118521 as it is a confirmed fit and because we have much better luck with the Tow Ready harnesses compared to the Curt ones.

I would strongly recommend you unplug the trailer wiring before backing into the water though as water and electricity don't mix well.
