Can Curt Q20 5th Wheel Head Install on E16 Base for More Height on 2015 Ford F-350 w/Prep Package
Question:
I recently purchased the Curt E16 setup with the base that fits into my factory ford bed kit 2015 F350. Since then I have purchased a new camper and need a fifth wheel hitch that will achieve more height above the bed rails. Is this hitch style capable of getting my camper higher above the bed rails with the base 16017 I think I currently have? What all hitch models would be able to get the camper higher using the base I have now?

First, the Curt Q20 hitch head # C16530 does indeed fit base # C16017 for your 2015 Ford F-350 with the factory prep package. It is height adjustable up to 17 inches.
If that is not enough then that does not necessarily mean that you have to get a new hitch. On most 5th wheel trailers you can adjust the pin box up or down where it mounts to the trailer.
If adjusting the pin box height is not enough or you can't adjust it then to get more height you would need to replace the hitch. The tallest for your truck is B&W hitch # BWRVK3300 which is height adjustable up to 18-3/4 inches.
