Parts Needed for Reese 5th Wheel Hitch Installation in 2015 Ford F-250 Long Bed
Question:
Tell me what part you do need for the hitch or does everything already come with it when you purchase

To mount a 5th wheel hitch like the Reese 16K Slider # RP30051 in your F-250 long bed you will need an installation kit. Note that for 8-foot beds sliding hitches are not usually required but can still be used if desired if kept in the forward position. For a fixed Reese 16K hitch you might instead consider # RP30047.
The easiest installation kit is a custom type that will require less drilling. If your F-250 does not have the factory rail kit you can use Reese install kit # RP50026-58. If it does have the rail kit (there will be holes in the bed) then you'll instead use adapter # RP30156 rather than the install kit.
You will also need a wiring harness in the truck bed for the trailer. You can use plug-in 5th wheel harness # C56000 that installs without cutting or splicing wires.
