Recommended Hitch Adapter for Raising Bike Rack that is Compatible with a 1-1/4 Bike Rack and Hitch

Hi, do you have any hitch risers that I can use to raise my bike rack? My hitch is 1 1/4 and my bike rack needs to go into 1 1/4 hitch. Any help? Thanks,

It sounds like you are looking for an adapter like the Brophy # HT5R which provides you with a 5 inch rise. To make these adapters 2 inch raised opening fit the 1-1/4 bike rack shank you will need to use a reducer like the Brophy # HT02.

It's important to note that when you use an adapter like the Brophy # HT5R that you will reduce your carrying capacity by 50% so if your hitch carries 200lbs tongue weight you will be reduced to 100lbs.
