Chain Hangers for Pro Series WDH That Bolt to Side of Trailer Frame

Question:

I recently bought the Pro Series Weight Distribution Hitch #49581N for use on my 2003 Coleman Cheyenne pop up camper. Im pulling it with a 2007 Honda Odyssey, hence the need for a WDH. The problem Im having is that the dual propane tanks/housing are in the way of the bolts on the chain hanger brackets. In other words, I cant bolt them on because of the propane tank housing. There is a spot on both sides of the 2-inch thick A-Frame that is 31 inches from the hitch, which aligns with the spring bars. So Im good there. My question is, will these chain hangers #C17005 work with my Pro Series WDH? They say they are for Curt Weight Distribution Systems, but I didnt see bolt on chain hangers made specifically for Pro Series. Also, will the bolts included be long enough for my 2-inch frame width? Finally, a related question... Ive got a side mount trailer jack that is welded on/held in place with a snap-ring. I have to replace it anyway because it locked up on me. My plan is, if possible, to replace with a center-mount jack. There is a top plate that I can drill through, but will I need to install another plate on the bottom side of the frame for extra support for the jack? Thanks!

Actually Reese/Pro Series does make a set of bolt on chain hangers that are designed to work with your Pro Series WDH. For that you would want the part # RP58305.

You also wouldn't need to put a lower brace on your trailer for an A-frame jack to fit. Some trailers will have these but for the most part they just aren't needed.
