Fitment of Rooftop Cargo Box and Trunk Mounted Bike Rack on a 2016 Toyota Highlander

I have ordered the Hollywood Bicycle rack HRF2-3 I have the spoiler per the recommendation on your site I didnt have a hitch and decided to go this route. I would like to also purchase a rooftop cargo carrier for my 2016 Toyota Highlander. First, what do you suggest that would fit my vehicle, I have the factory installed cross bars. I dont believe there is anyway to move these and the space between the two bars is shorter than I am use to. Second, would I be able to use both the bicycle rack and the rooftop cargo box at the same time?

Thanks for your recent purchase. Good news! I was able to confirm that the Thule Force XT XXL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6359B will fit your 2016 Toyota Highlander's factory crossbars. Their center to center distance should measure 28 inches.

To ensure this rack will fit with the roof cargo box # TH6359B you will want to measure from the front crossbar back 54-3/4 inches to see if the two will impact. The best way to do this is after your trunk mounted bike rack has been installed. I spoke to the manufacture of the # HRF2-3 and due to the multiple ways you can install this bike rack may affect fitment of both at one time.

If you get back to me about the distance you find, I can help you select a roof top cargo box that will work for you if the # TH6359B won't.
