Will Roof Rack From 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan Fit 2015 Audi A3  

Question:

I purchased a Rhino rack sportz black roof rack, they are areo crossbars model for a 2011 vw tiguan that had roof rails, a few years back from your site. I recently purchased a 2015 Audi A3 Sedan. I was looking to fit these bars to the Audi. I unfortunately do not know what model the crossbars are. Do these sound familiar? And do you sell the parts to fit these cross bars to my Audi. Thanks in advance

I called my contact at Rhino-Rack and asked about the older Sportz roof rack you have from your Tiguan. They told me that the bars have changed in design and they do not have the items needed to install that system on your Audi. They told me that the crossbar attach points have changed and chances are that the roof rack crossbars needed for the A3 are longer and the older bars you have would not work.

If you like the Rhino-Rack Aero crossbars I recommend the Vortex roof rack for your Audi. This roof rack has black aerodynamic crossbars and features channels in the bars that can accommodate several accessories. To order this roof rack you will need part # RRVA126B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK425.
