Can a Wobble Roller Retainer be Replaced with a Cotter Pin

can I use a cotter pin vs these? whats the pros and cons

Essentially the Wobble Roller Retainer pin part # CE10981 is a cotter pin. I would recommend using this though as it was designed to fit under a wobble roller. A cotter pin might interfere depending on it's size.
